I would a whole lot rather you taste the flavor of the meat before you put anything on it. Taste the time and energy that went into it.

bsinger's Review of Lyndons Pit BBQ

Joint:
  • Overall: I used to live a mile from this place for two years and I never even knew it existed. Now I understand why. Good napkins.
  • Pulled Pork: good, but something lacked in the taste of it. Wasn't too sure if I 'melts in your mouth, not in your hands' texture.
  • Spare Rib: It's a rib grab bag! each rib was different to me. weird.
  • Coleslaw: Red potato, nice to see something a little different.
  • Coleslaw: Wrong answer, try again. KFC's slaw would kick this slaw's ass anyday (and that isn't saying too much).
  • Sauce: Flavor is good, but doesn't have any kind of kick to set it apart.
  • Atmosphere: I just walked into a T.G.I. Fridays that sells BBQ. Not really into the whole strip center thing. It's clean, so that's a plus.
  • Brisket: Okay brisket, not fatty, no big flavor to it.
