It was my Uncle George who discovered that alcohol was a food well in advance of modern medical thought.

crosen's Review of Blalock Bar-B-Que

  • Hot Link: Disgusting
  • Atmosphere: Run down green and red painted hole. Red roof siding. Old looking. This is a man’s place. Deer heads on the wall. The movie “Raising Arizona” playing on the small TV.
  • Brisket: Very tender, nice fat, mild taste
  • Sausage: Nice, smoky flavor
  • Sauce: Nice, peppery tang
  • Spare Rib: Weird taste, almost gamey, oversmoked
  • Overall: Stay away from the hot links and ribs. Brisket and sausage was good. Inside atmosphere was cool. Be very careful of the food here. It is inconsistent.
