Smoke Daddy's Review of Habys Hot Pit Bbq

<<Update - This joint has closed>>

MAIN FARE:Habys Spread

  • Brisket - Both the firm & fatty side are served. Firm is a little dry, but still fairly good & flavorful. The fatty side is rich and good.
  • Spare Rib - SALTY. Meat is juicy and tender... falls apart. But they over-salted today.
  • Sausage - This is store-bought Eckridge. Sliced lengthwise. Fair.

  • Potato Salad - Chopped potato salad has a different texture, but fairly average taste.
  • Pintos - Thick & beefy. Good.
  • Sauce - Thin & warm. Good for dippin' - not much to it, but it doesn't cover the meat flavor.
