  • Atmosphere: Pintos are firm, good--a bit bland, like the XO's
    sense of humor.
  • Brisket: Excellent! peppery, perfectly cooked.
    Firm, lean, rich flavor.
  • Atmosphere: BIG pile o' pecan on side of building. 2
    large pits out front, large prep area. Only open Th,
    F, Sa. It's a------CONVERTED GAS STATION! Yeah,
    baby! The perfect ambiance for a BBQ joint. This
    beats antler-holes in the ceiling any day!
  • Potato Salad: Standard style - Too sweet!
  • Spare Rib: Lean, dry, good rub. Not too salty.
  • Sausage: Coarse grind, peppery, casing just right.
    Damn good!
  • Potato Salad: German style - Pretty good: skin on
    spuds, onion, butter
