Joint: 

What a cool Q joint!  Currently in rebuilding mode after a fire consumed their former location on the other side of the lot.  this open air and picnic table is the epitome of a Texas roadside joint.  The owner and girlfriend were extremely friendly and were right at home living in the log cabin that the owner built with his father.

The brisket and ribs were solid.  I personally could have used a little less salt on the brisket and a little more rub or smoke on the ribs which were otherwise cooked to perfection.

The only side available the day we were there was barbecue sauce, but what a sauce.  One of my favorites on this trip it was thick and tangy anc chock full of veges, peppers, and other spices.
